From Sketch to Final Art

Thursday, December 30th, 2010
Every theatre brochure image starts with an idea and concept
rooted from the script. My main collaborators are the art
directors that help guide the client to the final image based
on a sketch they prepare.
You will see from the sketches how much work is already planned.
I just execute a great idea. Scott and Christina from Punch & Judy
are brilliant at solving these puzzles.

The Boxer

I hung out with Chris Tyrell for a morning during the Eastside Crawl.

Chris is someone who knows a lot about the business side of art.

Here is one of our short interviews.

McNally’s Blog

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

Just got a lovely mention on Joe McNally’s blog.

He is very supportive of the people that assist him

and he willingly shares everything he knows about

the business. A really nice guy who has 35 years of

amazing images under his belt. He just finished teaching

at The Vancouver Photo Workshops. I spent the day with

him and the guys from Landyachtz boards.

Lots of great info on his site. He’s a great writer and

busy shooter. Several books for sale on Amazon too.
